Join us in Turkey

Turkey is March's  choice for Way Library's Culture Club.  The program is set for Monday, March 19, 2010.  Begum Gocmen is originally from Turkey and now lives here in Perrysburg with her family.   We will be able to learn much about this country in Eurasia.   There will be fun activities, food and interesting tales of Turkey.  The program is open to grades

LEGO MANIA

FLASH (Fun Library After School Happenings) will be held March 18 from 4:30-5:30. 
This program is for children ages 7-10. 

 Way Public Library will be offering an after school program, Lego Mania, on March 18 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. 
Boys and girls ages 7-10 are invited to participate in this fun-filled event.  We will try to build a bridge and learn interesting facts about the Lego and other LEGO fans
 building projects..

BOOK DISCUSSION FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS

March 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. Homeschooled children ages 8-10.
Books may be picked up at the Children's Desk for check-out now.
Charlotte Parkhurst was raised in an orphanage for boys.  Charlotte had a special way with horses and wanted to train and ride them on a ranch of her own.

BABYTIME

It is time for Way Public Library's Spring Babytime.   The program is for caregivers and their babies ages 6  to 11 months.
You may attend the lapsit beginning Friday March 19, 2010 and ending April 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
 There will be a short break on April 2, for Good Friday.
During the program we share rhymes, baby sign, and movement activities. Siblings are welcome.

INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO

 Sigma Alpha Iota (BGSU Women's Music Fraternity) will be presenting a unique program at Way Public Library.
After a short concert, families will be given an opportunity to "pet" an instrument.
They can strum the strings or push the keys to become familiar with various instruments and how they are played.
This free family program is on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Youth Activity Room.
